Position Summary

The Purchas Box employee is responsible for pulling parts from the warehouse and stockroom to fulfil the customer order for the production floor. This position requires employees to work in fast-paced environment safely.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Gather parts from the warehouse and label them.
• Unload shipments in the correct location.
• Ability to work independently.
• Compare incoming shipments with bill of lading, invoices, MSP system to understand and execute daily requirements. 
• Keep an accurate record of parts used and mark any missing/damaged parts for orders.
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with Marathon Electric policies and in line with Regal Rexnord core values
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Other duties as assigned.

• Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong PC skills- MSP operating system or similar programs are a plus.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Great attention to detail.
• Current forklift Certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Dependable, Reliable, and punctual.
• Effectively communicate with other employees, departments, and levels of management
• Promote teamwork and foster a great team environment
• Computer skills required
• Ability to learn new process and procedures
• Willingness to adapt to different work situations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.

• Must be able to manipulate large motors on a regular basis
• Physically capable of lifting up to 35 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, squatting, and standing for 8 hours shifts
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with Marathon Electric policies and in line with Regal Rexnord core values.
• While performing the duties of this job, employees regularly stand and use hands and arms for the duration of their shift.
• Employees must regularly lift parts up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime as needed

This area includes electric motors, drives and industrial automation equipment and services, and maintenance services. Electric motors and other related equipment find applications in practically all industrial segments, in equipment such as compressors, pumps and fans, for example.

Energy Generation, Transmission and Distribution (GTD)
Products and services included in this area are electric generators for hydraulic and thermal power plants (biomass), hydro turbines (small hydroelectric plants or PCH, and hydroelectric generators or CGH)), wind turbines, transformers, substations, control panels and system integration services.

Commercial and Appliance Motors
In this business area, our focus is the market of single phase motors for durable consumer goods, such as washing machines, air conditioners, water pumps, among others.

Paints and Varnishes
In this area, which includes liquid paints, powder paints, and electro-insulating varnishes, we have a very clear focus on industrial applications in Brazil and are expanding to Latin America and other regions.
