Iluka Resources is a leading global producer of the criticalminerals,zirconand high-grade titanium dioxide feedstocks (rutile and synthetic rutile). Iluka has alsoestablisheda significant position in rare earths. 
 

In partnership with the Australian Government, Iluka is building a globally significant rare earths refinery at Eneabba in Western Australia’s Mid-West. The facility will process rare earth materials into separated oxides – including both light and heavy rare earths – making it the first refinery of its kind in Australia and one of the few outside China.  
 

Construction is now 60% complete. Upon commissioning in 2027, the refinery will position both Iluka and Australia at the forefront of efforts to build more resilient and diversified global supply chains for critical minerals. Rare earth elements are essential for defence systems, medical, optical, robotics, electric and hybrid vehicles, and renewable energy technologies, as well as most items that use electric motors.  
 

About the role 

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Process Operator to join our concentrator team at Eneabba. This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of mineral processing circuits, including gravity and flotation separation. You will play an important role in optimising plant performance, product recovery and operational efficiency while gaining experience in a technically advanced processing environment. 
 

This is a permanent position offered on a roster of 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off rotation. 
 

You can choose to stay at our new camp accommodation on a drive in, drive out basis, or if you live locally, commute from one of the nearby beautiful coastal locations. 

Key elements of the role include: 

  • Operating both fixed and mobile plant and equipment 

  • Undertaking regular plant inspections and completing check sheets 

  • Sampling and analysing process streams, reporting, and correcting any production variances 

  • Making the plant available to enable timely and effective maintenance 

  • Undertaking appropriate risk and hazard assessments to ensure a safe working environment is sustained 
     

About you 

To be successful for this role, you will have: 

  • Similar experience in a mining or processing environment 

  • Valid C Class driver’s license essential 

  • Front-end-loader, skid steer, Forklift, EWP license desirable 

  • Commitment to a proactive approach to safety and the environment 

  • Good numeracy, literacy and computer capacity 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a small team
