Job Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup of concrete forms and molds.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete using hand tools and power equipment.
- Level and smooth concrete using screeds, trowels, floats, and other tools.
- Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure concrete surfaces.
- Remove forms after concrete has set and clean work areas.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
- Follow all OSHA and job-site safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the foreman or supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in concrete or general construction is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Dependable attendance and commitment to job-site safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience finishing concrete surfaces.
- Knowledge of form setting and rebar installation.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
