Join our team as a Sauté Cook and play an important role in delivering the quality and consistency our guests expect. You’ll work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen preparing and cooking a variety of menu items while maintaining proper portioning, presentation, timing, and food safety standards. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and can stay focused and organized in a busy kitchen.
Position Responsibilities
- Standards & Recipes: Adhere to portions, cooking methods, kitchen policies, dietary guidelines, and recipes for complete consistency.
- Sauté Execution: Flawlessly execute Greek pan specialties using precise searing, blistering, and pan-tossing for proteins, seafood, and vegetables.
- Line Coordination: Sync ticket cook times perfectly with grill, fry, and expo stations to serve complex tables simultaneously.
- Stock & Logistics: Safely move supplies between storage and work areas, receiving and storing items in designated spots.
- Food Storage: Store all food in properly labeled containers to prevent spoilage and uphold food safety regulations.
- Sanitation & Cleanliness: Clean and sanitize all workstations, tables, shelves, equipment, and floors continuously.
- Equipment & Ops: Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and preparation tools safely while notifying supervisors of any maintenance issues.
- Inventory & Communication: Maintain high guest standards by alerting supervisors of low stock for timely ordering.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to manage high-volume prep efficiently under kitchen pressure.

Requirements
- Kitchen Background: Prior experience working as a saute cook in a busy, high-volume restaurant is preferred, with at least one year of experience.
- Physical Requirements: Must be comfortable bending, stretching, kneeling, and moving efficiently throughout a busy kitchen.
- Work Environment: Comfortable remaining on your feet and moving around for the majority of an 8-hour shift on hard kitchen surfaces.
- Communication & Attitude: Maintain excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude in fast-paced environments.
- Strength: Capable of handling and transporting items weighing up to 40 lbs. on your own and up to 80 lbs. when working with another team member.
