Part-Time Housekeeper | CookHillsborough, CALocal candidates only!

A lovely, warm family of four in Hillsborough, California is looking for a part-time Housekeeper | Cook to provide simple, healthy home cooking alongside light housekeeping support. The family enjoys straightforward, functional dinners and easy breakfast basics, with an appreciation for global flavors and good, honest cooking over anything fussy or formal. Weekly deep cleaning is handled by outside cleaners, so this role focuses primarily on cooking, with light tidying and kitchen cleanup along the way.

We're looking for someone warm, easygoing, and comfortable working independently in the home. There are no major dietary restrictions to navigate, and the family values simplicity, health, and balance over anything overly restrictive or complicated.

• Schedule: two days per week, ideally Mondays and Wednesdays
• Start Date: as soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Prepare simple, healthy dinners and breakfasts using a well-stocked kitchen
• Cook with an eye toward global cuisine and functional, family-friendly meals
• Handle dishes and kitchen cleanup after cooking
• Take out the trash
• Manage light laundry
• Provide light tidying and cleaning as time allows, with vacuuming or additional house cleaning if the schedule permits
• Coordinate grocery shopping ahead of cooking days

Qualifications

• Prior experience cooking in a private household or similar setting
• Comfortable preparing simple, healthy, globally-inspired meals
• Reliable, warm, and low-key, comfortable working independently in the home
• Basic housekeeping and kitchen organization skills
• Available for the Monday/Wednesday (plus occasional Friday) schedule
• Comfortable being interviewed and starting quickly

Compensation

• $50+ per hour | depending on experience
• Guaranteed weekly hours
