Welcome to Eastern Trenchless Ltd., Atlantic Canada's premier trenchless
construction contractor. We utilize cutting-edge specialty equipment to minimize
disruptive dig-and-replace methods that are common in the industry. Our
expertise lies in UV light Cured in Place (CIPP) lining, encompassing lateral, spot
repair, and mainline lining. Our core focus is on municipal/provincial sanitary
sewer and storm pipe relining, employing diverse techniques and technologies.
We also extend our services to residential and industrial lining solutions for gravity
and pressure pipes, accompanied by robotic and manual repair, inspection, and
cleaning services. We are authorized installers and partners for Channeline,
CentriPipe, Permaform, and Primus Line.
Position:
We are currently seeking Traffic Control per to join our team. These roles will be
integral to our CCTV Pipeline Inspection Division, Jet Vac Operations, Pipeline
Rehabilitation, and UV Lining Operations. As a traffic control personal at Eastern
Trenchless, you will play a pivotal role in redefining the future of underground
infrastructure. Your work directly contributes to the reliability and longevity of vital
sewer and storm systems, preventing disruptive failures and minimizing
environmental impact. By employing advanced techniques such as UV light Cured
in Place (CIPP) lining, you will be at the forefront of transforming how
municipalities and industries approach pipe rehabilitation.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with the crew to ensure successful cleanings, repairs, and rehabilitation of sewer and drainpipes.
- Direct and control vehicular and pedestrian traffic at construction sites and roadwork zones.
- Set up and maintain temporary traffic signs, cones, and barricades as needed.
- Maintain radio or other communication devices to stay in contact with coworkers and supervisors.
- Ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic through designated areas.
- Load materials and equipment onto vehicles and transport them to and from job sites.
- Evaluate job sites to determine the most efficient approach to completing services.
- Prioritize safety and adhere to Corporate Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
- Maintain and clean equipment and tools, ensuring their safe usage.
- Ensure all equipment is consistently in good working condition.
- Operate company vehicles safely.
- Operate equipment proficiently, adhering to safety standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to lift 30-50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Function cohesively as a team member.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Safety certificates are an asset.
- Plumbing and electrical experience is an asset.
- Commitment to safety, adhering to all corporate Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
- Adaptability to multitasking in a diverse work environment.
- Class 5 driver’s license
