Description
Airnorth is recruiting for a Technical Services and Reliability Engineer to join the Continuing Airworthiness team based in our Perth office. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the role focuses on providing effective technical support to ensure optimum safety, reliability and cost effectiveness of the Airnorth fleet. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with availability after hours to respond to urgent operational matters.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all aircraft are repaired and modified in accordance with the OEM and Part 21 instructions.
Provide technical assistance to the Technical Services Manager for efficient operation of Airnorth fleet.
Liaise with Engineering and Flight Operations department on technical matters and troubleshooting defects.
Assess technical documents including Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and Engineering Orders
Performance, monitoring and oversight all activities associated with the reliability review program.
Evaluate aircraft systems and engine trend data downloads.
Provide maintenance technical support.
Liaison with the CASR Part 21 representatives, airframe, engine, equipment manufactures and regulatory authorities.
Selection Criteria
Formal aviation related engineering or trade licences and/or experience as LAME or tertiary engineering qualifications.
Sound knowledge of Reliability Systems and/or Statistical analysis.
Ability to research and prepare reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of CASA regulatory requirements.
Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite including Excel/Word/Oulook.
Previous experience with maintenance management software and database e.g.: Envision, IAS, TRAX, Winair or similar.
About you
Must possess high-level interpersonal skills to manage multiple tasks within strict timeframes.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an ASIC.
