This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.

Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Summary

As a part of the Retail Slicing Team, the Line Feeder Operator oversees the operation of all slicer line feeding robot cells. This position must set up and program the robot cells to the specified requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Tyson safety policies including, but not limited to, Lock-Out Tag-Out.
• Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) deemed necessary by Tyson Foods for this position.
• Gather required equipment before the line starts.
• Set up all robot cells and program recipes onto the HMI panel.
• Ensure the line is stocked with slabbed products to maintain a continuous flow of operation.
• Follow USDA, Tyson GMP, and Tyson Sanitation policies to ensure the utmost safety of the product.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure bellies are placed on the conveyor with no conveyor present between the products.
• Remove empty pallets to be washed.
• Trim bellies to meet specifications when necessary.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by Tyson Leadership when necessary.

• Must be able to perform all tasks associated with this position and required work hours.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge, skill, and ability required to perform this job without assistance beyond normal staffing needs.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read, understand, and complete job-related documentation, work instructions, and production records as required.
• Attendance point level must be 4 or less to qualify.
• No written warnings or suspensions within the last one (1) year.
• Must be in current position for at least six (6) months unless the position is a promotion.

Physical Requirements – The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds when manually loading the line.
• Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
