Life at Fulton Hogan is about making the most of opportunities, taking responsibility, and making it happen. We appreciate our peoples’ courage, curiosity and unique perspectives, and look to collaborate as much as possible to explore safer, smarter and more efficient ways of working in this rapidly changing world. We don’t stand still – there are always opportunities to do more and do better.
What’s on offer?
Garfield Road East Upgrade is one of the key transport infrastructure upgrades supporting growth in Sydney's north-west. The project will transform the existing corridor into a safer, higher-capacity road network, improving travel times, accessibility and transport connections for the surrounding community.
Key project works include:
Expansion of Garfield Road East to four lanes
New and upgraded intersections along the corridor
Improved walking and cycling connections
Bus priority measures to improve public transport reliability
Upgrades that increase network capacity and reduce congestion
Improved safety and accessibility for the local community
To support the successful delivery of this significant project, we're seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Eastern Region Construction (ERC) business in NSW.
Working closely with the Project Manager, Foreperson and the site team, you’ll play an important part in managing day-to-day engineering activities and supporting project outcomes.
What you’ll do
Support the planning and delivery of construction activities across the project
Coordinate site works, subcontractors and resources to meet programme requirements
Prepare and manage documentation, including ITPs, reports and project records
Monitor progress, costs and quality to support project performance
Identify risks and work with the team to implement practical solutions
Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers and internal teams
How you’ll connect to the role?
We’re looking for a Project Engineer who brings experience within civil construction or infrastructure projects and understands how engineering supports successful delivery. You’re confident working on site, coordinating activities and supporting teams in a fast-paced environment.
You take a practical, solutions-focused approach and are comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail. You’re proactive, organised and able to communicate clearly across all levels of the project.
You build strong relationships, collaborate well with others and take pride in contributing to a high-performing team. You’re motivated, willing to learn and keen to continue developing your career within a growing Construction business.
This is a great opportunity to build your capability, gain exposure across complex projects and be part of a team delivering quality infrastructure outcomes.
Join Fulton Hogan and be part of a team that’s delivering real outcomes for communities. If you’re looking to contribute to a project that makes a lasting difference, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll be supported by a team that values safety, teamwork and getting the job done right. Bring your experience, build your career, and help us shape infrastructure we can all be proud of.
Our people share the same set of values that keep us REAL. Respect, Energy and Effort, Attitude and Leadership encapsulate what we stand for at Fulton Hogan and encourage us to foster a diverse and inclusive culture where we listen to, care for, celebrate, and respect everyone.
We are committed to reconciliation and building and nurturing respectful relationships with First Nations peoples. Through our First Nations Engagement Strategy and Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we aim to promote opportunities, cultural understanding and partnerships that celebrate and acknowledge the contributions of Indigenous communities.
If our values resonate with you, please submit an application for the position. If you’re not sure that you meet 100% of the selection criteria, that’s okay, we would still like to hear from you and potentially discuss how your skills could be utilised at Fulton Hogan.
For over 90 years, Fulton Hogan has been delivering high-quality infrastructure to improve the lives of people every day. Our 10,000+ team works in every kind of weather and environment, creating, connecting, and caring for communities across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
