Starting rate: $18/hr

 

Baylor Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Technician to fill our full-time opening at our Day Outpatient Facility in Dallas! Seeking a full time outpatient orthopedic rehab aide to join our dynamic Occupational and Physical therapy team. Duties include infection control cleaning, laundry, light equipment maintenance, assistance to clinicians for direct patient care, assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks, and other duties as assigned. Candidate must be energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team. Previous tech experience preferred but not required. Clinic hours vary from 7A-7P Monday-Thursday and 7A-5P on Fridays.

 

Responsibilities

Seeking rehabilitation tech for the outpatient setting. Job duties include rehabilitation tech in working with patients under a therapists' directions to help provide comprehensive rehabilitation.

 

Duties include assistance to clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting), infection control cleaning, light equipment maintenance, driving routes to transport patients to and from clinic, assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks, setting up patients on therapeutic activities, facilitating exercise groups, and other duties as assigned. Candidate must be hard working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, friendly, energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team. Must have a valid driver's license. 

Qualifications

• One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred.
• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire
