In this role, you have the opportunity to
Work on Philips Global QMS to manage Supplier Initiated Change Request management across Philips as a SICR CoE Team Member.
We are seeking a process-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a SICR Owner. The ideal candidate will excel in ensuring End to end change management implementation, data accuracy, crafting impactful presentations, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in Supplier Initiated Change Management and supporting cross-functional teams, while demonstrating a strong sense of urgency, flexibility, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
SICR Process Ownership
- Own and manage the end-to-end Supplier Initiated Change Request process from submission through implementation and closure.
- Ensure supplier change requests are reviewed, prioritized, tracked, and processed in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
- Drive adherence to global change control requirements and governance standards.
- Monitor workflow progression and proactively remove bottlenecks to ensure timely decision-making.
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation of all supplier-initiated changes.
Change Impact Assessment
- Coordinate cross-functional evaluations of supplier-proposed changes
- Facilitate risk assessments to evaluate potential impacts on quality, compliance, performance, supply continuity, and customer requirements.
- Ensure appropriate validation, qualification, and approval activities are defined and executed before change implementation.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the primary interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the change management process.
- Drive alignment among Global Supplier Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Regulatory teams.
- Facilitate review boards, governance meetings, and escalation discussions when required.
- Communicate change status, risks, decisions, and implementation plans to stakeholders.
Supplier Engagement
- Guide suppliers on SICR requirements, expectations, and documentation standards.
- Ensure suppliers provide complete and timely information to support impact assessments and approvals.
- Support suppliers in understanding quality and regulatory requirements related to change management.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier change management capabilities and compliance.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with applicable Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies.
- Identify and escalate high-risk changes requiring additional oversight or management attention.
- Support internal and external audits related to supplier change management activities.
- Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement of global SICR processes.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and report SICR performance metrics, including:
- Cycle time
- On-time closure
- Approval lead times
- Backlog management
- Supplier responsiveness
- Quality of submissions
- Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, effectiveness, and stakeholder experience.
- Support digitalization, automation, and process harmonization initiatives across regions.
You are a part of
In this role, you will be part of the SICR- CoE, Global Supplier Quality team. You will be responsible for achieving a state of high-quality documentation from our Supplier partners, presenting change case to change control boards & driving end-to-end closure through governance, tracking, timely & structural escalations. This requires a high level of accuracy and understanding of need for change, requirements against proposed changes, prioritization of the change request by close collaboration with multiple stakeholders. When not handled properly, impact leads to potential production shortages and untreated patients. You will have the opportunity to work with a global supplier base, drive change process improvement and optimization on diverse set of geographies.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Certified in ISO 13485: 2016 and /or 21CFR Part 820
- 7 to 10 years’ experience in establishing and maintaining regulated Supplier Management Systems.
- Program management skills preferred and must have managed suppliers
- Proven experience in a role requires strong attention to detail, sense of urgency and data accuracy.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or Tableau) and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint), capability to use AI for enhanced & faster delivery.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with delivering tools/methods for establishing QMS Quality Manuals and Internal supplier Quality Agreements
- Change Management – ability to influence stakeholders in the value and benefit of the new processes
- Experience addressing conflicts, escalation at team level to achieve desired results.
- Demonstrated experience handling deadlines, able to focus on targets
- Demonstrated experience-driving progress, taking initiative to achieve results.
- Experience understanding of the process approach ‘End-to-End’
- Excellent Supplier relationship management skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to adapt and learn

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
