Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

To drive operational excellence across Fibre Operations through automation, analytics, and continuous improvement. We are looking for a forward-thinking individual who naturally challenges manual processes, eliminates repetitive tasks, and leverages data to uncover opportunities for greater efficiency and performance.

This role is responsible for transforming operational data into meaningful insights, monitoring key business and operational KPIs, identifying performance gaps, and delivering actionable recommendations that improve fibre provisioning and installation outcomes. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to support strategic decision-making, enhance service delivery performance, and accelerate the digital transformation of Fibre Operations.

1.Service Order Management

Manage fibre orders from submission to activation, ensuring timely completion and SLA compliance.

2.Operational Coordination

Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth service delivery.

3.Escalation Management

Handle operational escalations and drive timely issue resolution.

4.Reporting & Data Analysis

Prepare reports, dashboards, and performance analysis to support business decisions.

5.KPI Monitoring

Track key metrics such as SLA compliance, installation turnaround time, order completion, and fallout rates.

6.Problem-Solving

Identify root causes of operational issues and recommend improvements.

7.Excel & Reporting Tools

Use Excel and reporting tools to analyse data and provide operational insights.

8.Process Improvement

Support automation and process enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency.

9.Stakeholder Management

Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and external partners.

10.Communication

Present operational updates, findings, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and management.

11.Planning & Prioritisation

Manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines and service targets.

12.Compliance & Governance

Ensure adherence to company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Business Administration, or any related field
• Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Min 3 to 5 years of experience in Operational Reporting, Telecommunications Operations, or Business Analytics
• Proven leadership skills with experience in team management, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making
• Prior experience in the fibre broadband or telecommunications industry is an added advantage
