Senior ICT Compliance Officer

About the role

You will join the Prudential Oversight team within Group Compliance, Saxo's second line of defence function, based at our headquarters in Hellerup. The team oversees compliance risks across ICT, operational risk and data governance, supporting the business in meeting regulatory requirements, market standards and internal policies. Working closely with Compliance colleagues in Denmark and internationally, you will play a key role in strengthening compliance oversight across Saxo's technology organisation.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct compliance oversight and monitoring across ICT areas regulated by DORA, including ICT risk management, incident management, business continuity and resilience testing, access management, critical functions and systems and third-party ICT service providers.

Depending on your profile, knowledge and experience, the role may also include compliance activities within operational risk, data quality and data governance.

Responsibilities 

You will join an organisation where the foundation of the business is built on ICT and where platform availability is key to help clients get invested in the world. In the Prudential Oversight Compliance Team, ICT regulation is a core focus, and you will help us support Saxo in continuously driving this important area in a compliant direction. 

Your main responsibilities will be to: 

• Perform compliance risk assessments within the areas of ICT risks, operational risks and data risks, with a particular focus on DORA-related requirements

• Provide advice, challenge and compliance opinions to the business on regulatory requirements and compliance risks 

• Conduct compliance monitoring activities, including follow-up and closure of recommendations 

• Contribute to regular compliance reporting to the senior management of the bank 

• Participate in developing Saxo’s compliance framework 

• Collaborate closely with our Compliance Team in India 

• Interact with the business across organisational levels and seniority 

Your profile 

We are looking for a colleague with solid experience working in ICT compliance, operational risk, data governance or technology risk management.

Most importantly, you have experience working with ICT requirements and legislation, ICT governance, risk assessments, and advisory work related to ICT requirements, and you are familiar with DORA or NIS2.

You may have gained this experience within a second line of defence compliance or risk function, a first line of defence risk or control role within financial services, internal or external audit, IT audit, consultancy or another highly regulated industry. Experience with operational risk and data governance is considered an advantage.

Moreover, we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, can work independently while taking an active role in teamwork, and enjoys collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across the entire organisation. 

It is an advantage if you thrive in an environment with constant change, bring a positive and curious mindset to work, and do not buy into the word ‘cannot’. 

You must possess strong stakeholder management skills and use your communication skills to ensure positive collaboration and progress in joint tasks. We are looking for a colleague who always brings a positive attitude when liaising with the business.
