Job Description

Would you like to work in accounting while also using data and technology to improve processes? In Group Accounting, you will combine day-to-day accounting work with the development of our data flows, reporting and processes. You will put your technical strengths to use while continuing to develop your accounting expertise.

What you will work on

• Support the team with day-to-day accounting tasks and use new technologies, including AI, where they can improve processes effectively and safely
• Gradually take responsibility for the accounting of an investment company and other group companies, and contribute to monthly and annual closings
• Help develop data flows and transformation processes in Microsoft Fabric, and create digital reporting solutions
• Build your knowledge of securities accounting using Moneysoft and of our Microsoft Fabric solution, and provide cover in both areas
• Develop data-driven analyses and automations for accounting and reporting processes, and improve data flows and interfaces

Requirements

• A solid foundation in accounting, gained through relevant vocational training, a degree or practical accounting experience
• Initial hands-on experience in data preparation and integration, reporting and process automation. Knowledge of SQL or Python is an advantage
• An interest in developing your accounting and technical skills, and a willingness to undertake targeted further training where needed
• An analytical, meticulous approach and an interest in translating business requirements into practical technical solutions
• Very good German and English skills
