Job Description

As a Security Officer Hotel Unarmed Patrol in Oxon Hill, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel/resort buildings, guest areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
