Job Description

As a Security Officer Estate Access  in Diamond Bar, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by managing entry points, verifying visitors and credentials, monitoring access activity, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting residents, guests, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access at community entry points by verifying authorized residents, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, contractor, and vehicle access records, and communicate relevant access information to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
