Description
It's a new day with a new opportunity at 8am!
About the role:
As the Business Operations Manager, Partnerships, you will provide business strategy, data insights, and process transformation to enable our Partnerships organization to do what matters most. You'll serve as the connective tissue across Partnerships, Sales, Finance, Product, and Marketing, owning the systems, processes, and insights that let the team execute with clarity and consistency.
This role is also a close operational partner to the SVP of Partnerships, providing hands-on support across planning, reporting, and coordination for every function within the Partnerships organization.
You are someone who surrounds themselves with data and loves digging into process and technology to understand where improvements can be made. You are a switch hitter, someone who loves playing at both strategic and tactical levels, and who uses this to drive initiatives from inception to completion.
About us:
At 8am, our vision is to power a world where professionals thrive. We start every day on a mission to empower professionals with the most trusted, innovative technology to deliver world-class outcomes for their clients and exceptional financial results for their business. They count on our purpose-built solutions to simplify operations, ensure compliance, and fuel profitable growth, so they can focus on their clients and do more of the work that matters.
Founded in 2005, 8am™ (formerly AffiniPay) is the professional business platform built to help legal, accounting, and other client-focused professionals run stronger, more profitable businesses. Today, more than 250,000 professionals across the U.S. trust 8am to help them work smarter, serve clients better, and unlock their full potential. We have been recognized as one of Inc 5000’s fastest growing companies in the U.S. for 13 years in a row, and as a result, our teams continue to grow as well!
What you'll do:
- Partner with the SVP of Partnerships on planning, reporting, budgeting, and communications, including executive dashboards and business reviews.
- Own reporting and analytics for partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue, and build the dashboards and KPIs that show pipeline, conversion, and partner performance.
- Manage the quote-to-cash process for partner deals, working with Sales Operations and Finance to keep deals clean, approvals moving, and attribution accurate.
- Build and run the processes for partner-influenced renewals and expansion, with clear visibility into the renewal pipeline.
- Help design and improve our partner program, and build, test, and launch solutions in Salesforce, Outreach, Marketo, Workato, and partner resource management (PRM) tools.
- Run the operational side of partner involvement in our annual user conference and key events, including sponsorship packages, pricing, and partner communications. Some travel is expected.
- Work across go-to-market teams to spot the biggest opportunities, build a roadmap, standardize how we work, and mentor junior BizOps teammates along the way.
About you:
- 4-5+ years in revenue operations, business operations, partner operations, management consulting, or a related field.
- Deep Salesforce experience, including process and dashboard design. Hands-on time with PRM tools is a plus.
- A solid grasp of quote-to-cash and SaaS revenue models.
- Comfort with data and sales and marketing metrics, and the knack for turning what you find into clear, revenue-focused recommendations.
- Experience scaling go-to-market operations and putting processes and policies in place at a growing company.
- An owner’s mindset: you stay curious, spot problems early, and fix them without waiting to be asked. You can explain complex workflows to technical and non-technical teammates alike.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation.
