Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer II for our Ultrasound Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity.

At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, assisting physicians, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.  

 

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Responsibilities: 

• Performs high-quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures 
• Promotes goodwill among coworkers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients 
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements 
   

Experience Requirements: 

• Vascular Ultrasound Experience 
• 1-2 Years Customer Service Experience 

   

Education & Credential Requirements: 

• Vocational School 
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Or 
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - ARDMS Or 
• Registered Technologist in Sonography (ARRT) Or 
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - ARDMS Or 
• Basic Life Support (BLS)-AHA Required
