Safety Manager - Construction

We’re seeking a Safety Manager to join a leading mechanical contractor supporting major commercial and industrial projects in the Fargo, ND area. What You'll be Doing:

• Oversee and enforce all safety programs, site-specific health plans, and compliance protocols for large-scale mechanical projects.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and incident investigations to maintain a zero-incident environment.
• Lead new-hire orientations, training sessions, and toolbox talks to strengthen safety awareness.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to project teams, ensuring alignment with company safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop, update, and execute proactive safety policies and best practices.
• Manage safety documentation, reporting, and insurance claim follow-ups as needed.

Who We're Looking For:

• 5-10 years of experience managing safety programs in mechanical construction, HVAC, or industrial environments.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA and state/federal safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Current BCSP certification, (CHST®, SMP®, ASP® or CSP®) or OSHA 500/510 
  Certification required
• A hands-on, proactive professional who leads by example and inspires safe work practices across teams.
