Job Description

As part of the Engineering Journey, you’ll help shape how 8,000+ engineers design, build, and collaborate every day. Examples for practices

• Confluence will move from on-prem towards a cloud solution where you will actively play a role in.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability.
• Manage cloud environments and optimize resources, performance, and costs.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and application performance.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, monitoring, and process optimization.

• Our Area consists of eight squads. One of the squads is responsible for knowledge accessibility via Nexa. This includes technical documentation, Confluence and Athene, our AI chat bot.

You & your talent

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, System Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of Linux server environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

 

Nice to Haves

• Experience working with relational database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other SQL-based database platforms.
• Software development experience using one or more programming languages, including: Python or C# .NET.
• Ability to read, troubleshoot, and contribute to application codebases to support deployment, monitoring, and operational requirements.
• Front-end development experience, with a preference for React.
• Understanding of full-stack application architectures and how infrastructure, services, and user interfaces interact within cloud-native environments.
• Experience developing, consuming, and troubleshooting RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications with third-party platforms and SaaS solutions.
