Machine Operator

Description

We are searching for experienced machine operators in our fresh-cut produce facility. The machine operator is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of our production machinery. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Operate processing equipment: Translicer & Dicers

· Maintain the machine to ensure it continues to work properly.

· Make sure the quality of the finished product meets our standards.

· Work well independently but also as part of the team, willing to help out wherever is needed.

· Responsible for setting up, running, maintaining, and basic troubleshooting processing equipment

· Perform proper changeover procedures

· Adhere to food safety regulations & GMPs 

· Adhere to company Policies, SOP’s & SSOP’s

Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent GED; technical school a plus

· Ability to stand 8-10 hours

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

· Ability to operate a variety of equipment in a safe and effective manner

· Mechanical mindset with ability to think outside the box

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and other departments

· Ability to work effectively in the absence of close supervision

· Ability to multi-task

· Ability to work in a fast paced, cold temperature environment

· Understand and abide by all safety regulations as well as policies and procedures

· Ability to maintain regular attendance

· Ability to work overtime, as warranted by business needs

· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
