Overview
The Process Improvement Engineer II is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and optimizing operational processes within the organization to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. Uses data-driven methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement tools to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall performance. Works closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement process enhancements, monitor outcomes, and ensure the sustainability of improvements.
- Support process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategies for improvement.
- Collect and analyze data to measure process performance, identify trends, and evaluate the impact of changes.
- Work closely with department leaders and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide training and coaching on process improvement tools and methodologies to staff and teams.
- Monitor the success of implemented process changes, ensuring sustainability and identifying further areas for improvement.
- Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate process improvement findings, outcomes, and recommendations to senior management.
Education
- BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree preferred
Certification/Licensure
- Lean six Sigma certification Preferred
Experience
- 3 years experience in process improvement or healthcare management
- 5 years of related experience can be considered in lieu of a bachelors degree.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $88,899.20 - $132,620.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
