Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

The primary function of the Regional Service Technician is to provide direct support to all

branches within the region.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, isolate, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or software issues

using systematic methods.

• Follow manufacturers requirements in performing preventative maintenance

• Operate and function test equipment to verify machine performance

• Maintain meticulous logs of work orders, parts inventory, asset conditions, warranty and

repair history.

• Support, train, and guide shop technicians on service, safety and best practices.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• 5+ years of mechanic experience with IC engines, propane, electrical and hydraulic

experience

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired

• Will need to provide mechanic’s tools of trade

• Excellent trouble-shooting skills

• Ability to prioritize work assignments

• Ability to work independently and be flexible regarding work assignments

• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Must possess a high degree of safety-awareness

• Working knowledge of equipment design and safety requirements

• Prior floor care equipment experience strongly preferred

• Ability to travel 50-75% - frequently requiring overnight stays

• Ability to travel throughout the region as required

• Excellent communication, organizational and change management abilities.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record history.

• Must own and be able to effectively and safely use mechanic’s tools and

equipment

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Base Pay Range: $29.77 - 40.94
