Description
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work on-site at the Marshall, Missouri facility maintaining and repairing plant and production equipment to support safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, perform equipment repairs and rebuilds, and help ensure continuous production performance.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair, and test parts and components on plant and production equipment.
- Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order.
- Inspect machines and equipment to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure production operations continue efficiently.
- Use manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, and parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant and production equipment.
- Use hand and power tools to remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair, and test parts and equipment on plant and production equipment.
- Perform electrical and pneumatic work on production machines.
- Complete welding, electrical, and fabrication work as needed.
- Work extended shift schedules and overtime, including weekends, based on business needs.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of progressive mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Vocational technical training in machine maintenance.
- Electrical experience.
- Read and write English to complete production and quality documentation.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
- Familiarity with and use of basic shop equipment, electric arc welders, plasma cutters, torches, and basic hand tools.
- Carry and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
Physical Requirements

- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.

- Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
