THE JOB:
The Global Sales Director mission is to deliver exceptional sales performance by fostering strong client partnerships, leveraging market insights, and promoting our brand's unique value proposition. The Global Sales Director will strive to exceed group room and catering revenue targets through innovative strategies, dedicated teamwork with all properties, and a commitment to excellence in service with the client journey in mind.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Retain TOP accounts and solicits new acquisition accounts in assigned territory
- Host established number of in market MGMRI events entertaining new clients and top clients
- Be a brand ambassador and thought leader for MGMRI through participation in industry events through attendance, and board/committee participation
- Provides in-market intelligence on industry trends and client updates
- Present monthly updates to leadership and properties
- Move business across the enterprise to retain business and for seamless client experience
- Develop suggestions to maximize revenue streams at MGM Resorts International properties
- Interact with all departments of properties to ensure strong communication
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- 8+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred

- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
- Previous experience with distributed computing, enterprise-wide systems, agile-based development, Scrum, Kanban or other agile methodology and experience working in a DevOps culture and with distributed teamsStrong system troubleshooting skills, including end-to-end diagnostics across multiple platforms
- Global Sales experience Preferred
