Position Summary

Lead and participate in the development, validation, and delivery of advanced analytics, statistical models, machine learning solutions, and reporting tools that support healthcare and business objectives. Design and implement data-driven solutions by leveraging data science, predictive modeling, natural language processing, and visualization technologies to solve complex business problems, improve patient care outcomes, optimize healthcare operations, and enable evidence-based decision making across the organization. Collaborate with business leaders, clinicians, IT teams, and other stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights and drive strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, statistical modeling, or a related field.
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing predictive models, machine learning solutions, and analytical frameworks.
• Proficiency in data-oriented programming languages and data visualization tools.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience developing dashboards, metrics, and performance reporting solutions.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively across functional areas.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, deliver, and support data-driven initiatives.
• Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality standards, and analytical best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying advanced analytics and machine learning techniques within healthcare, payer, provider, or clinical environments.
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP), data mining, and predictive analytics methodologies.
• Experience improving healthcare quality, operational efficiency, or patient outcomes through data science solutions.
• Experience presenting analytical results and serving as a consultative partner to business and executive stakeholders.
• Familiarity with industry-leading analytics, visualization, and data engineering tools and technologies.
• Experience mentoring team members and promoting data science best practices.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging data science technologies and methodologies.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience may be considered.
• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a related field is preferred but not required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$83,430.00 - $166,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
