Description

Grace Adventures is a religious organization that makes employment decisions on Bible based beliefs and practices. Because of the nature of our Christian program; Christian belief, character, and practice are essential requirements of employment positions.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Fulfill the ministry of Grace Adventures and to provide a safe, Christian environment where families can be impacted. This person is one of the first representatives of Dunes Harbor Family Camp, and will be expected to serve guests by maintaining a standard of excellence in the welcome center. This person must demonstrate strong computer, organization, and customer service skills to carry out the mission of Grace Adventures through the ministries purpose.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Data entry
• Post payments
• Answer questions guests may have regarding registering and other needs
• Print check-in reports
• Help facilitate all camp registrations
• Assist in Office operation
• Answering Phone calls
• Maintain welcome center area in a clean, professional manner
• Maintain filing systems
• Communicate with outer departments as needed
• Communicative: able to be personable, make & receive phone calls/emails, verbally solve problems, and welcome visitors in a professional manner
• Initiative: Must be solution focused and seek out other tasks
• Cooperative: Able to function well working closely with others and guests
• Confidential: Must practice discretion and restraint in the use and of information
• Maintain professional appearance in compliance with Dunes Harbor’s dress code
• Obey all policies and rules
• All other duties as assigned

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Serve guests by maintaining a standard of excellence in office management and customer service
• Serve campground staff as needed
• Understand the Grace Adventures ministry and be supportive of its goals

RESPONSIBLE TO: Dunes Harbor Family Camp Director

REPORTS TO: Guest Services Supervisor

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Minimum age: 18
• Self-disciplined and motivated
• Able to organize, multi-task, and work in an office setting
• Possess skills with computers and ability to use Word and Excel systems (Google Suite)
• Ability to communicate well
• Desires to be part of a team
• Good health and stamina is required to implement basic office functions 
• Is willing to have a flexible schedule (work evenings and weekends)
