Employment Type: Full-time (Mid-Senior level)

About the Role & Mission
We are revolutionizing primary healthcare in Germany by seamlessly integrating modern technology with clinical excellence. By equipping general practices with AI-driven administrative tools and streamlined operational workflows, we remove bureaucratic burdens so physicians can focus on delivering exceptional patient care. To fuel our national footprint, we are looking for a high-performing M&A Manager (m/f/d) to spearhead our practice acquisition strategy across Germany. In this high-impact position, you will take total ownership of identifying, valuing, negotiating, and acquiring top-tier GP practices (Hausarztpraxen) and outpatient medical centers (MVZs). Acting as a trusted partner to physician owners, you will guide transactions through every milestone of the deal lifecycle while expanding our innovative healthcare network.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Deal Leadership: Lead buy-side acquisition processes from initial engagement to contract execution, driving negotiations and managing deal flow (primarily leveraging warm leads and targeted outreach).
- Due Diligence Coordination: Manage external legal, commercial, tax, and financial advisors to ensure rigorous due diligence, optimal deal structuring, and swift execution timelines.
- Financial Modeling & Valuation: Collaborate with internal Finance leads to develop comprehensive business cases, valuation models, synergy analyses, and structured offer frameworks.
- Relationship Management: Build high-trust, empathetic relationships with practice owners, physicians, brokers, and healthcare network leaders to secure long-term buy-in and successful post-merger integration.
- Executive Decision Support: Draft detailed investment memos and present clear, data-driven deal proposals directly to the Executive Board and Management Team with absolute professionalism.
Candidate Profile
Must-Haves:
- Experience: 3 to 4+ years of hands-on M&A transaction experience acquired in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate M&A, Strategy Consulting, or a high-growth tech scale-up.
- Education: Master's degree (M.Sc., M.A., MBA, or equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Execution & Technical Skills: Demonstrated track record of managing simultaneous deal pipelines and closing complex transactions. Expert proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Language Skills: Business-fluent German (C1 minimum / Native) strictly required for high-stakes negotiations with medical professionals, accompanied by fluent professional English skills.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical and financial acumen combined with exceptional emotional intelligence, diplomatic finesse, and interpersonal skills when consulting physician owners.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior M&A transaction experience within the German healthcare landscape (particularly with MVZs, clinics, or general practitioner practices).
What We Offer
- Meaningful Purpose: Play a pivotal role in modernizing outpatient medical infrastructure and expanding quality care accessibility across Germany.
- High Visibility & Autonomy: Full end-to-end deal ownership with direct reporting lines to C-level executives, founders, and the Board.
- Competitive Rewards: Base salary ranging between €60,000 and €120,000 gross p.a. (commensurate with experience level), performance-linked bonus, and profit-sharing participation rights (Genussrechte).
- Work-Life Quality: 30 paid annual leave days, flexible hybrid work arrangements (up to 1 remote day/week), fully stocked central Munich office amenities, and a subsidized Wellpass health and fitness membership.
