Description
Days and Hours of Employment:
- Half Day – 7:30am-11:30am or 11:30am-3:30pm
- Full Day – 7:30am-3:30pm
- Monday – Friday
Availability: Substitute teachers may be called as early as 6am on the same day as sub is needed.
Pay Rate: Half Day - $50, Full Day $100
Expectations:
- Reflect a personal faith in Jesus Christ through lifestyle, church commitments and a commitment to Christian education
- Be professional and courteous in dealing with students, families, faculty and staff, and the general public
- Follow all applicable school policies and procedures
Responsibilities:
- Take attendance as per teacher instructions
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher
- Communicate with the regular classroom teacher at the end of the day by written note or email to provide an update on material or activities covered
- Supervise students during non-classroom activities such as recess and chapel
Qualifications:
- Be a born-again Christian and member of a local church
- High School diploma required
- College education preferred
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Background check required
