A thriving private practice anesthesia group in the Youngstown, Ohio area is seeking a dedicated General Anesthesiologist to join its dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional anesthesia care while medically supervising Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Position Overview

As a General Anesthesiologist, you will deliver anesthesia services for a diverse caseload, including OB, vascular, thoracic, general surgery, healthy pediatrics, and orthopedics. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring patient safety and comfort while supervising CRNAs to maintain high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures.

• Conduct pre-operative assessments and provide post-operative care.

• Medically supervise CRNAs, ensuring effective and safe anesthesia delivery.

• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration and patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $500,000 annually.

• Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.

• Paid Time Off: 8 weeks annually.

• Profit Sharing: $26,000 per year.

• Malpractice Insurance: Fully covered.

Schedule

• Work 2-24 hour shifts per week (negotiable days).

• CRNAs are always in-house to support anesthesia delivery.

Requirements

• Valid Ohio medical license (or eligibility to obtain).

• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
