Description
Nanobiosym is an innovative, high-tech company that is developing novel technologies at the nexus of physics, nanotechnology, and biomedicine. Founded by MIT/Harvard alum and located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Nanobiosym was awarded the first X-Prize to be given for healthcare.
LabVIEW Development Engineer is responsible for further development of our current technologies.
Duties:
- Develop enhancements to LabVIEW HMI/GUI software
- Develop Automation for current calibration routines.
- Develop Enhancements to calibration routines of android
- Maintain and improve existing LabVIEW code bases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master's degree in an engineering or computer science related field.
- 10+ years' experience with LabVIEW development including the following:
- Experience in LabVIEW legacy and refactoring.
- Experience with real-time control systems.
- Experience building HMIs/GUIs.
- Experience in developing bidirectional cross platform communications for data and control
- Experience with remote communications such as RS-232, GPIB and USB protocols.
- Experience in data curve fitting functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Labview is required for this role
- Strong experience editing and maintaining existing code bases
- Strong experience assembling and troubleshooting basic electrical and mechanical hardware; and electrical instrumentation (oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies etc.)
- Strong experience implementing data-logging
- Strong experience in software integration role working with ISO 13485 standards
