Primary Class Teacher

Primary Class Teacher Location - PenzanceFull time and part time roles available Long- Term Teachers are working with fantastic mainstream and SEND schools for pupils and we are looking for more qualified primary school teachers to come on board to help us support these local schools.   We are looking for a caring, dedicated, qualified teacher, who has the ability to build trusting relationships with students, parents and your peers. It is essential that you have at least 2 years of experience teaching in the UK. You will be planning and delivering sessions for students in Key stage 2, so it is desirable that you have previously taught this key stage.   Essential prior to application:Have Qualified teacher StatusHave experience of teaching across primary phaseAn accomplished and experience classroom teacherExperience of setting targets, monitoring, assessment and monitoring performance in order to raise pupil achievementAble to work well within a teamStrong ICT skillsUnderstanding of SEND and how to support  Key responsibilities:To set and evaluate individual termly targets and to maintain records of achievement for CYP, in consultation with colleaguesTo provide reports and assessments for CYP in accordance with school policy and for a range of audiences, including a detailed report prior to their annual reviewTo ensure that effective communication is maintained with parents/carers about their child’s welfare, progress and participation in our school communityTo ensure the safeguarding of all pupils, by operating with the Education Provisions (EP) safeguarding practice & policy, reporting to the Safeguarding team any concerns and record information on the EPs safeguarding system.  Working with Long Term Teachers: We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools. LTT was founded with the aim of creating a genuine, transparent and straightforward service to help candidates secure their next role.
