Job Title: Branch Manager - Loan Against Property (LAP)
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
The Branch Manager for Loan Against Property (LAP) is responsible for overseeing the branch operations and ensuring the achievement of LAP sales targets. This role involves managing and supporting the sales managers, developing sales strategies, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Branch Manager will work closely with the regional management and other departments to ensure smooth functioning of the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Branch Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and effective functioning.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage the branch's budget, expenses, and financial performance.
- Sales Management:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the branch's LAP sales targets.
- Supervise and support sales managers in their sales activities and target achievement.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews with the sales team.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales managers and other branch staff.
- Set clear performance goals and objectives for the team.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities for staff.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Handle escalated customer queries and complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments to expand the LAP customer base.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, real estate agents, and other potential referral sources.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular branch performance reports to the regional management.
- Analyse sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in the LAP or mortgage industry, and 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.
- Strong knowledge of the LAP market, products, and regulatory environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
