Description
We’re hiring a LABORATORY ASSISTANT
Learn how you can be our voice in the conversation about the future of agriculture.
You will be responsible for controls and checks of the quality of the product at each steps of seed conditioning and processing in the seed plant and/or in the fields during detasseling according to CORTEVA standards and requirements.
Your Challenge:
- Supporting of official sealing samples: taking from automatic samplers, samples dividing regarding to ISTA method, prepare of deposit samples and the other samples for lab testing.
- Lot numbering, quality controlling through the whole seed processing. Make all the necessary documentation that needs for proper process’ quality control traceability.
- Deep involvement and sometimes leading role in implementation and maintaining of the following business support systems: R3, PioSYS, VIGOR.
- Ensure that CORTEVA’ quality and quantity goals are met.
- Responsible for ensuring that general safety expectations are known, kept and followed. (fire, accident prevention, health conservation)
- Protect tools and value of CORTEVA and report deficiencies to the management of the company. Keep the lab cleaned and orderly.
- Inspect of import lots: sampling and checking official labels and receiving lots in VIGOR system.
- At the receiving: sample taking and moisture metering; checking the whole documentation for shipments.
