Kitchen Team Member (Back of House)

Position Summary

The Chick-fil-A Kitchen Team Member (Back of House) is responsible for preparing and assembling food products that meet Chick-fil-A quality, safety, and cleanliness standards. This role works in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while delivering exceptional food and guest experience.

Schedule: Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and package food products according to Chick-fil-A standards
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in all kitchen areas
• Follow proper procedures for food handling, storage, and temperature control
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (grills, fryers, ovens, warmers, etc.)
• Restock supplies and maintain organized workstations
• Communicate and work effectively with team members
• Follow all health, safety, and company policies
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude at all times

Physical Requirements (ADA Compliant)

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
• Bend, reach, and move throughout the kitchen
• Work in a fast-paced, hot, and noisy environment

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (or meet state minimum age requirements)
• Able to work in the U.S. with proper authorization
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment
• No prior experience required — training provided
