Job description
Primary job responsibilities are to successfully deliver pre-planned lessons over a period of time and to ensure the personal growth of Club members in a specific subject area.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate a program activity within the 5 Core Program areas within a Boys & Girls Club site (clubhouse or school site) according to established standards
- Provide guidance and role modeling to members and staff
- Assist in planning program goals and objectives consistent with organizational goals and mission
- Ensure members are encouraged to participate in a variety of program areas/activities and that they receive instruction and constructive feedback to develop skills in a program activity
- Ensures appropriate conduct, safety, and development of members
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.50-$17 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (1pm-6pm)
Qualifications
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- At least 48 college credits (or take district test)
- Experience in planning and implementing quality youth programs Knowledge of youth development
- Ability to demonstrate a professional manner in all interactions
- Be able to facilitate a diverse group of youth effectively
- Ability to organize time well and focus on completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Submit proof of a negative TB test
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
