Your responsibilities
Generate sales proposals in line with requests for quotation. This process may involve liaison with the sales contact, the customer, the Test Centre Manager and the Proposals Manager, to produce a compliant technical response.
Interface with external suppliers to receive supporting OEM quotes
Day to day involvement with the Proposals Team.
Co-operation with the planning and scheduling of the Proposals Team to meet enquiry and support request deadlines.
Liaison and interaction with the EMEA Food Team colleagues based throughout Europe
Participation in the Food Team and overall EMEA sales meetings.
On-going education, training and development in application and product knowledge.
Familiarisation with current industry legislation.
Use of in-house sales tools required to prepare quotations
Participation in Sales/Engineering contract handover.
Participation in Test activities as required.
Participation in site visits as required.
Your qualifications
Given the broad nature of the role, the candidate should have a good knowledge of general material handling and process equipment, ideally from within the Food sector. Additionally, it will be required to show a good understanding of material handling legislation (ATEX requirements and general Food industry compliance).
