Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing Superintendent
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily MEP construction activities, including subcontractors and manpower.
- Ensure installation complies with drawings, specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Coordinate MEP works with other disciplines (CSA, Process, etc.).
- Supervise equipment installation, piping, ductwork, cabling, and testing/commissioning.
- Monitor progress, report issues, and propose corrective actions.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce site safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 8+ years of MEP construction experience, with at least 3 years in a superintendent role.
- Strong technical knowledge in HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proven leadership and subcontractor management skills.
- Strong safety mindset.
