Our Licensed Practical Nurses are responsible for providing general nursing care to patients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with physician’s orders and established standards and protocols. For all our roles, we expect our team to integrate our company values into daily practice.

This position is full time and will work 3 -12 hour night shifts a week with rotating weekends

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Implements orders for medications and treatments as ordered by the physician and in accordance with nursing care plan as written by the Registered Nurse. Will also participates in evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions in relation to patient responses and seeks guidance in redirection when necessary.
• Assists in identification of patient’s learning needs and reinforces self-care and other techniques.
• Reports to supervisor on patient care rendered, problems concerning patients’ needs, and resolution to those needs as well as appropriately designates applicable charges to individual patients using the hospital’s established system.
• Helps identify patient problems and potential risks and contributes to the development of interventions.
• Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions. Complies with appropriate and approved safety and Infection Prevention standards.

Requirements for consideration:

• A minimum of 2 (two) years’ experience in inpatient hospital setting, inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required.
• Current CPR certification required.
