Undergraduate research assistant will be responsible for a variety of data analysis activities related to well and groundwater data. Candidate will gain hands on experience working with spreadsheets and programming languages performing data clean-up, analysis, and visualization.
Responsibilities will involve:
- Programming
- Data entry
- Data analysis
- Data visualization
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience programming in R
- Knowledge of statistical analysis
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
Preferred Experience or willingness to learn the following:
- Experience using ArcGIS or other spatial analysis tools
- Experience entering, graphing and interpreting data
- Willing and able to work well with others in a team setting
