SYSTRA is GENERAL CONSULTANT (GC) FOR PHASE-II CORRIDOR FROM JLN STADIUM TO INFOPARK VIA KAKKANAD OF KOCHI METRO RAIL PROJECT.

 

We are seeking applications for the role K1 - Expert Civil in Kochi Metro Project.

Missions/Main Duties

Review & supplement the detailed project report/concept report and all design reports as available.

Assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of the project delivery, especially the Civil components.

Assistance in preparation of preliminary design and tender for elevated portions/stations and service buildings

Assistance in preparation of Tender Document for procurement of DDC, Civil works and Track works

Review/Preparation of Schedule of Dimension (SOD)

Review & proof checking of the detailed design and construction design

Assistance in Construction Supervision & Monitoring

Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and social aspects management

Assistance in TESTING, COMMISSIONING AND TRIAL RUNS

Preparation of Manuals for construction, administration, operation, and maintenance of Any state Metro

Ensure the safety compliances, conduct safety training as per group policy mainly 3S training.

Ensure every team member must has gone through Business Ethics and compliance training

Ensure every project member has knowledge of Environment policy of company.

Ensure each member of team has gone through 9 lifesaving rules

Each individual had gone through the Anti-Corruption training.

Ensure that the professional equipment provided for employees, complies with legal requirements

Request all the financial resources required to carry out their duties in accordance with this delegation of authority.

Instigate and organize information and training sessions dealing with health and safety.

Organize risk assessment for the workplace and job safety analysis.

Assist to Team Leader and manage fire protection, make arrangements for first aid, evacuate plans, organize and take part in evacuate exercise.

Take all the precautionary measures and required to forestall or prevent a security accident or incident.

Profile/Skills

• Graduate (BE/B. Tech.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum Total experience of 20 years in relevant field out of which minimum 6 years’ experience should be in the construction field of Metro railway/Railways.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
• Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.
