At Octopus Energy for Business (OEB), we are an established and rapidly scaling energy supplier with more than 120k business customers. We are reinventing Britain’s business energy market by rejecting brokers, delivering great value and outrageously good customer service to all customer segments, pioneering PPA-backed supply for I&C customers through Electric Match and leading the market for SME smart tariffs with Shape Shifters.
Operating within Octopus Energy Group, we are committed to helping business customers meet their energy needs through technology, renewables and flexibility. To do this to the fullest extent, we are now expanding our capabilities beyond supply, smart products and PPAs. To help large businesses solve for escalating energy bills, site resilience and net zero, we will also install and optimise low carbon tech at their sites.
This role will be one of the first hires to the team building out OEB’s I&C behind-the-meter capabilities. This team will develop a clean energy behind-the-meter offering for OEB’s larger business customers. Working closely with existing Group companies focused on on-site wind and solar, this role will support the technical development of OEB’s on-site proposition with a strong focus on integrating behind-the-meter batteries and flexibility into Octopus’s B2B solution set.
