The Alarm Central team is essential in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring fire and burglary alarms and prioritizing safety. This team coordinates assignments, responds promptly to safety events, and collaborates with internal partners to manage communications during incidents. What you'll do:
  • Investigate and respond promptly to alarms by dispatching security patrols or notifying emergency services as required.
  • Assist associates during safety or security events, ensuring their well-being and adherence to protocols.
  • Monitor travel safety and security for assigned associates, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Conduct continuous reviews of multiple systems to detect and address safety or security threats.
  • Coordinate corporate responses by distributing advisories and managing communications during incidents.
  • Compile detailed daily and incident reports to support operational transparency and improvement.
  • Provide backup and on-call security support as needed, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with policies.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience in monitoring and responding to safety and security alarms, coordinating appropriate emergency responses.
  • Knowledge of fire protection, fire suppression, sprinkler, HVAC, and life safety systems in compliance with NFPA codes.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with associates, security teams, and external emergency services.
  • Ability to compile detailed incident and daily reports while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively, provide backup support, and respond to on-call security needs with professionalism.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
