Production Maintenance Section Head
 

You will lead a team that keeps production equipment reliable, safe and available at our Egypt manufacturing site. You will plan and deliver maintenance, coach technicians, and work closely with production, quality and suppliers. Responsibilities:

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

- Lead the maintenance team to deliver safe, reliable and compliant operations for assigned production lines and utilities.

- Plan, schedule and oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance using the computerized maintenance management system.

- Analyse equipment performance and breakdown data to identify root causes and lead improvement actions.

- Manage spare parts planning and inventory to ensure availability for critical equipment.

- Oversee installation, qualification (IQ/OQ), FAT and SAT activities for new equipment and ensure smooth handover to operations.

- Coach and develop technicians, promote standard work, and support continuous improvement activities on the shop floor.

Basic Qualification

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.

- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Practical experience with preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance practices and CMMS.

- Experience in equipment qualification and lifecycle management.

- Good knowledge of safety, quality and regulatory expectations for manufacturing environments.

- Fluent English and Arabic communication skills; able to work across multicultural teams.

Preferred Qualification:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

- Master’s degree in engineering or related field.

- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or life sciences manufacturing.

- Skills in root cause analysis, reliability engineering or Lean continuous improvement methods.

- Experience managing CAPA, technical governance or cross-functional committees.

- Familiarity with PLCs, instrumentation, and utilities systems such as HVAC, steam and water systems.

- Strong stakeholder management and coaching skills.

Working arrangement

This role is on-site in Egypt. You will be expected to be present at the manufacturing facility to support hands-on activities and team leadership.
