Manager of Education

Position: Manager of Education (PA)                            Location: Pennsylvania
Reports To: VP of Career Development                          FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary:
Working throughout Howard Hanna’s Pennsylvania market and the Howard Hanna Global footprint, this individual will:

 

• Confer & collaborate with managers, regional managers and company leadership to create & deliver in-person and online training
• Work with Recruiting and Licensing to facilitate a complete onboarding cycle for agents new to Howard Hanna
• Assess training needs, develop and deliver training for agents, sales managers and employees via both classroom and online deployment
• Enhance sales skills at every level of agent expertise, through online and in-person learning opportunities
• Create training materials, including manuals, quick reference guide, scripts, etc.
• Work with the global training team to develop, promote and deliver a wide range of training opportunities unique to Howard Hanna’s goals, mission and values

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• New Agent Training: Responsible for scheduling, content development, oversight and classroom in person Fast Start (comprehensive post-licensing training program);  20-Hour Post-Licensing (20-hour state-required class). Cycles offered 5X per year (200+ new licensees annually). Works with Regional Managers in development & implementation of next steps enrichment training: consistent follow-up education focused on sales skills for newer licensees, to be taught by office managers in their respective regions.  8-class cycles, offered 2-3X per year.
• Continuing Education: Oversee scheduling and instruction of state-approved continuing education classes, offered by Howard Hanna, at Corporate Office and regional locations throughout Pennsylvania.
• Skill Development:  Create hands-on opportunities for agents to improve their use of Howard Hanna’s marketing-technology tools.  Engage agents at all levels in improving their sales skills: consultative, closing, overcoming objections, etc.  Integrate mar-tech tools and sales skills, teaching how their incorporation creates maximum impact in listing/buyer presentations. Core Training Topics will include instruction in all market differentiators and their proprietary use for Howard Hanna members.
• Travel: As requested to regional locations throughout the Pennsylvania market and to Howard Hanna offices in other states/regions
• Administrative Tasks: Working with administrator and utilizing the company’s internal learning management system.

Skills/Qualifications:
Qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Experience in adult training development and delivery
• Experience in Social Media content creation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Articulate and adaptable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, or similar presentation platform

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years of real estate sales and/or management experience preferred
