Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Navigator in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor alarm panels, and provide outstanding customer service. You will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while helping to support a secure environment through clear communication and attention to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, issue visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
• Monitor access points, lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site procedures.
• Answer phones, receive deliveries, coordinate with building management and/or first responders, and complete accurate daily activity reports and other required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
