Job Description
Be responsible for the day-to-day activities related to different AP TEV areas, such as the processing of non-PO/purchase order backed invoices and expense reports, as per the Process Desk Instructions. Create and approve new vendor/modification requests, as per the Process desk instructions. Receive and resolve inbound calls/emails.Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including processing Non-PO invoices, PO-backed invoices, and rush payment requests received from business stakeholders and external business partners. Utilize AI-driven tools, Ariba, and Workday to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing.
- Ensure 100% compliance with internal controls, company policies, and process guidelines by adhering to Desk Instructions and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Deliver high-quality support to business stakeholders and vendors by efficiently handling calls and email inquiries related to invoice processing, payment status updates, and other transaction-related issues.
- Actively participate in Lean huddles, process review meetings, one-on-one discussions, and training sessions to support continuous improvement initiatives and enhance professional development.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying process improvement opportunities, contributing to efficiency-enhancement initiatives, and supporting the overall effectiveness of the Accounts Payable function.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and process-related challenges while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Analytical skills to focus on continuous work improvement.
- Communication and interpersonal skills needed to interact independently with senior management.
- Good team player and able to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding and experience of the P2P process.
- Experience with Ariba/Concur/PeopleSoft.
- Accounts payable experience.
