Clinical Nurse Scrub/Scout Gynaecology (Midland Private)

Your role at St John of God Midland Private Hospital

This is an exciting opportunity to join St John of God Midland Private Hospital at the opening of the hospital in August 2026. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Scrub/Scout in the specialty of Gynaecology to help shape high-quality patient care within a modern, purpose-built environment. 

You will be part of a founding clinical team, contributing to the establishment of best practice models of care while delivering safe, effective and patient centred critical care services. 

Key Responsibilities

You will hold registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and have significant recent post registration experience and the ability to practice at an advanced level. To succeed you will have well developed leadership and communication skills and an ability to effectively engage with a range of senior and operational stakeholders.

About the new Midland Private Hospital 

  • A brand-new purpose-built state-of-the-art facility, currently under construction, located just 300 metres from the St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals Campus. 

  • A comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, with interventional cardiology being offered for the first time in the region

​The hospital will feature:

  • 96 overnight inpatient beds, including a six-bed critical care/high dependency unit

  • 33 bed/chair short stay and day procedure unit

  • Eight operating theatres

  • A Cardiac Catheter Laboratory

We can offer you

  • Salary: $109,599 to $115,681 (pro rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation

  • Permanent part time 70-72 hours per fortnight
