As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Support in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology data center location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct access control and badge-related activities, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and critical infrastructure locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document entries, exits, and security-related events.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol observations, incidents, access activity, and shift handoffs.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
