Position Summary:
The Assembly Tech is responsible for receiving, preparing and assembling FRP panels for delivery to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, transport and unpack delivered FRP panels for assembly
- Unpack, stage and prep parts for assembly
- Assemble FRP parts in a timely manner producing a quality product
- Meets scheduled deadlines set out daily by management within reason
- Adheres to the safety rules of JUPITER BACH
- Other duties as assigned
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution
- Previous experience operating warehouse equipment, and successful completion of a forklift training program
- Ability to identify parts needed per sales orders
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills & Mathematical skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledgeable in JUPITER BACH/OSHA Safety Requirements
- Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds 4+ hours per shift
- Must be able to use power and hand tools in a safe manner 4+ hours per shift
- Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shift
- Must be able to bend and crawl for 4+ hours per shift
- Much be able to crouch, kneel and stoop for 4+ hours per shift
- Must be able to climb ladders for 4+ hours per shift
- Must be able to sit, stand and walk for 6+ hours per shift
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, and feel for 6+ hours per shift
- Must be able to operate foot pedals for 4+ hours per shift
- Must be able to make fine distinctions in sound, express and exchange written or spoken words, and distinguish objects and equipment visually
